The yearly quest for Mutya ng Lungsod ng Agham has turn into the biggest, most awaited local beauty event with so many aspirants from all over the Science City of Munoz. This years’ search gave Munoz a remarkable showcase of pageantry in the direction of Gener Caringal, notable stage director from Cultural Center of the Philippines.

As rigid screening and final selection go on, 17 years old Ms. Jinky Antonio of Barangay Villa Cuizon won the much coveted title and crown Mutya ng Lungsod Agham 2005 , first runner-up was Ms. Marife Vanessa Torres of Poblacion East, Ms. Shirley C. Garces of San Felipe, 2 nd runner up and completing the set of winner is third runner up Ms. Krizzia Villanueva of Barangay Bantug.

The spectacle pageant highlighted the week-long celebration of 5th Charter an anniversary complementing other activities such as Muñoz Pop Idol, Ms.Gay 2005, Cultural Shows featuring Manjushaka, Chameleon and Filipinescas Dance Company, 4x4 Challenge, and Wagwagan sa Magdamagan Street Party. The Week- long celebration activities were indisputably successful and were enjoyed and appreciated by the constituents of the city.

City Mayor Nestor Alvarez stated that he was indeed grateful to all the partner of the city government and this year’s sponsors for their extreme support and assistance for making a significant and tremendous celebration.
